Walmart Launches National Advertising Campaign to Show “The Real Walmart”

Walmart today announced the launch of a national television and digital advertising campaign.  The campaign demonstrates how people across America count on Walmart to save money on the products they want and need, how the company provides tremendous career opportunities for its associates and how it creates efficiencies and works directly with manufacturers to help deliver low prices.

“We have wanted to do this for a long time because we know that people trust Walmart even more when they understand the opportunities we provide our associates, who the customers are that shop with us and how we deliver low prices,” said Bill Simon, president and CEO of Walmart U.S. “Every month more than 60 percent of Americans shop at Walmart and we are proud to help them save money on what they want and need to build better lives for themselves and their families.”

Tadalafil is used to treat male sexual function problems (impotence or erectile dysfunction-ED). In combination with sexual stimulation, tadalafil works by increasing blood flow to the penis to help a man get and keep an erection.

Tadalafil is also used to treat the symptoms of an enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia-BPH). To treat the symptoms of BPH, take this medication as directed by your doctor, usually once a day.

To treat erectile dysfunction-ED, there are 2 ways that tadalafil may be prescribed. Your doctor will determine which is the best way for you to take tadalafil. Follow your doctor's directions exactly since your dosage depends on how you are taking it. The first way is to take it as needed, usually at least 30 minutes before sexual activity. Tadalafil's effect on sexual ability may last up to 36 hours.

The second way to treat ED is to take tadalafil regularly, once a day every day. If you take it this way, you may attempt sexual activity at any time between your doses.

If you are taking tadalafil to treat both ED and BPH, take it as directed by your doctor, usually once a day. You may attempt sexual activity at any time between your doses.

If you are taking tadalafil once daily for BPH, or for ED, or for both, take it regularly to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, take it at the same time each day.

Avoid eating grapefruit or drinking grapefruit juice while using this medication unless your doctor or pharmacist says you may do so safely. Grapefruit can increase the chance of side effects with this medicine. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for more details.

Walmart Canada Announces Expansion Plans

    In  january 22 Walmart Canada announced that it plans to complete at least 37 supercentre projects in the company’s next fiscal year, which runs from February 1, 2013 to January 31, 2014. The company also announced it will be expanding its distribution network to support its ongoing store growth and expansion plans.
    The distribution centre projects, construction of new stores, and expansion, remodelling or relocation of existing stores represents an investment of more than $450 million in the Canadian economy. These expansion plans are expected to generate more than 7,000 store, trade and construction jobs.

    Walmart’s supercentres provide Canadians with a one-stop shopping experience. Each stores carries close to 100,000 different products ranging from apparel and home decor to electronics and grocery, plus specialty services such as pharmacies, garden centres, and vision centres. The company will also introduce the supercentre format to locations in the Maritimes this year.

Walmart Opens New Stores in Little Village, Lakeview & Back of the Yards

  Stores employ about 350 people and provide new, affordable grocery options for residents; Three new store managers have a combined 39 years of experience with Walmart

    Chicago residents in three communities now have a new, convenient and affordable option for all their grocery shopping needs.  Walmart opened three Walmart Neighborhood Markets in the city today in the neighborhoods of Little Village, Lakeview and Back of the Yards. The new stores, about one-fifth the size of a supercenter, employ a combined total of 350 people and provide customers with a new choice for fresh food. The new managers running these stores all got their start in Illinois and have close to four decades of combined experience with the company.

    “With our smaller format, our store is perfect for those on the go,” said Lakeview Store Manager Eric Galle, who began his Walmart career in 2001 as a cart pusher at the retailer’s Joliet store. “Whether they’re stocking up or need to pick up just a few items, our customers will be able to find what they need quickly and easily. Consumers will be able to find familiar brands and local products at great values, right in their own neighborhood.”

     Eric Jones, who began his Walmart career 12 years ago as an assistant manager in Orland Hills, will manage Back of the Yards and Fabian Lehaney will oversee Little Village.  Mr. Lehaney has been with Walmart since 1996 and started in the company’s Elk Grove Village store.
“Eric, Fabian and Eric are examples of the career opportunities available at Walmart as well as our ability to retain talented people,” said Labeed Diab, Senior Vice President, Walmart U.S. “Three quarters of our store management teams across the country started as hourly associates and more than 250,000 associates have been with the company for more than 10 years - these three individuals are a living representation of those statistics. Walmart to Boost Sourcing of U.S. Products by $50 Billion Over the Next 10 Years

       Walmart announced bold commitments to increase domestic sourcing of the products it sells and help veterans find jobs when they come off active duty. Speaking at the National Retail Federation’s annual BIG Show, Walmart U.S. President and CEO Bill Simon also announced the company is helping part-time associates who want to be full time, make that transition. 
      “We want all of our associates to find the career opportunities they want with Walmart,” said Simon. “We will make sure part-time associates have full visibility into full-time job openings in their stores and nearby stores, and that they always have first shot at those jobs. We will also bring more transparency to our scheduling system so part-time workers can choose more hours for themselves.”
