Total International Sales FYE 1/31/08:
$90.6 billion – 17.5 percent increase over the previous year. Operating income was $4.76 billion, an increase of 11.8 percent compared to the previous fiscal year.
For the four-week period ending January 30, 2009, $6.65 billion - a decrease of 7.3 percent over the same period last year. On a constant currency basis (assuming foreign exchange rates remained the same as the prior year), International sales increased 11 percent in the January period.
For the third quarter FY 2009 ending 10/31/08: $24.9 billion – an increase of 11.2 percent over the same period last year. Operating income was $1.2 billion for the quarter, an increase of 10.6 percent over the same period last year.
