The WalMart Foundation on Friday awarded $778,000 in grants to 12 Arkansas nonprofit organizations and projects at WalMart Super centers in west Little Rock, Pine Bluff and Fort Smith.
They are: Arkansas Literacy Councils Inc. received $250,000 for print and electronic instruction materials to teach adults English, writing and math skills.
